The shower is good but the toilet was not installed right and leaked. Everything was good at first but a smell started and after awhile we discovered the toilet had been leaking and the subfloor was soaking it up. We called the company And after a month they came out and put a new ring on and then tightened the toilet. They said they would come back out to replace it. It took two months and someone finally came out but the floor had dried and there was mold. The contractor sanded the mold and painted the floor from underneath and said that was authorized.

Everybody from the sales to the installers were great...we are very happy. On June 10, 2020, we purchased replacement windows from American Home Design. A year later, we noticed after a particularly long rain spell, that the windows were leaking. Streaks of dirty water were noted at the bottom of the windows. We contacted American Home Design and they came to the house to inspect. They agreed that all 3 double windows were not installed correctly and they agreed to order new windows and install them.

They called to confirm they got the card and get the "necessary" information to send me the gift card. When I wouldn't let them pressure sell me or come to my house for "water inspection" I suddenly didn't qualify for the gift card. We had to have a guttter person come and complete the gutters. $425 extra on top of the cost of roof, We were royally screwed. Not to mention the association wants us to get the shortened roof fixed. The salesman was very knowledgeable, the windows are beautiful and the installation went really well.

He has no idea if our 3 new windows are in or not. We contacted the service manager to get some clarification who then informs us that she made a mistake and that our new windows have not been received. Instead, they have been ordered but they have no idea when they will be in. We are senior citizens on a fixed income and these windows cost $15,000.

We ordered a replacement door from American Home Design for an entry that posed problems due to the original construction. No amount of adjustment seemed to make it easy to open or close. American Home Design showed their concern in providing a quality product correctly installed by a crew that was orderly, skilled, and careful with the movement and placement of tools and material. They were able to overcome the problems posed by the original builder in regards to framing and brick work.

After talking to our salesman we did not get the other two quotes. The speed of construction, lifetime warranty and how easy to open or remove windows sold us. There was a slight wait time till our project was able to begin but the installer showed up on a Monday with one helper, worked Mon. The electrician came Monday and got it wired then just waited on the state inspector. So after a week of work we had our 12x20 sunroom.

In the end we signed and a very competent installer showed up on time prepared for the job. We were told a "team" would be installing and therefore the job would take at the most 2 days. Bob was our team and it took 4 days to get everything done, minus installing the tub. They had ordered the wrong one and we had to wait for the right one to be delivered.

The job took two days and was started on the estimated 12th week after sale. Seem to be very high quality units and a very good warranty. Friends and family have told me I paid way too much for the total package but I hope I can recoup the expense if I ever sell the house. American Home Design has been Nashville's #1 Home Improvement company for over 35 years.

We need answers and hoping that the BBB can help. We had quite a back and forth between the salesman and his boss. They were not able to do all the work we wanted for our bathroom remodel, so we scaled down what we wanted and got a quote around $23,000. We declined that and were contacted by the supervisor a day or two later who said he could lower the cost to $14,000. I've simplified the back and forth by cutting out a bunch of phone calls and 4 home visits for pictures and measurements.
